Smart Search available in the Panel API

We’re happy to introduce Semantic search in the Panel API, improving how you can retrieve and analyze innovation data.

Until now, you have leveraged Advanced search for precise filtering, but with this update, you can now apply Semantic search across all available panels in the Panel API.

Semantic Search makes it easier to build queries by allowing you to search with natural language instead of using complex Boolean structures.
This means you can retrieve relevant results without having to manually construct detailed keyword-based queries.

Whether you're searching for trends, technologies, patents, or competitors, the API now provides a more intuitive way to interact with our database.

Please note that we're continuously working on improving this feature and some functionalities are not available yet with this release: 

• Semantic Search is designed for topic-based searches. For organization-specific searches, use Advanced Search. When activating Semantic search, Advanced search will be limited to organizations.
• Combining Semantic Search with Organization advanced search esis technically possible via the API, but this functionality is currently unstable and not recommended.
  For reliable results when searching for both a topic and an organization, use Advanced Search.
